This is my 5th parachute purchase. I have a mattress pad two sets of sheets (one winter and one summer) and two comforters (one duvet and one standard comforter). The comforters are beautiful and comfy. I get compliments on them all the time. As for the sheets I alternate every two weeks between parachute and then another brand. I notice a difference in happiness when I crawl into bed with my parachutes. They really make all the difference! I almost can’t describe it. I purchase the brushes cotton because in the winter we were using parachute sheets and every time we’d get it bed to freezing sheets. We would have to do a little dance to mentally prep for the cold and wait to warm up. I was hesitant to purchase the winter ones because we both run warm after getting in bed. However they were on sale so I took the chance and so glad I did. They are not cold when getting in bed now yet they aren’t warm either so no overheating. They are comfy and soft and such good quality. I’m a parachute loyalist for sure!
I'm a tosser and former pillow-puncher. I got this because I learned I had dust allergy so thought it justified a splurge. So glad I did as this medium fill is my favorite pillow after almost seven decades. I've been tracking my sleep for a couple years with a fitness tracker. Now I get almost twice as much deep sleep a night. And I find I get to sleep much quicker. It really is a wonder for me and I couldn't be more pleased.
I've been wanting this pillow for a long time but I held off because of the high price point. Don't do that--it's absolutely worth its cost. I didn't realize my old pillow was the reason I have been a restless sleeper for years. Now once I fall asleep I hardly move.
I'm not super sure how long linen sheets are supposed to last but both my fitted sheets have lasted about 3 years before becoming thread bare and ripping. The top sheet duvet and pillowcases are holding up great. I've contacted Parachute before about care instructions and they were very responsive and helpful. It may have been because of our new washer is not as gentle or some other care I was doing. But also I don't know what to do with the old sheets that have rips in them because a lot of the fabric is still good and intact. I'd still recommend linen sheets though. So many times I've gotten in bed this is the best money i've ever spent but i wasn't planning on buying new fitted sheets every few years. I'll still buy them though.
These pillowcases have buttons that run down the middle of the pillow case which I don't like. It's hard to get the pillows in and then it doesn't seem like it's a good fit - the buttons are stretched with gaps in between. Ultimately the design should be improved
I do love my linen box quilt. I bought my first one in white. When I went to buy another it was no longer offered in white in my king size but I was offered the chance to be on a wait list in case it became available again. To my delight a king size in white was offered to me many months later. I scooped it up! There are many other lovely colors in the quilt but I am a white person for my linens. I love my quilts and truly do not understand why this quilt is no longer offered in white. This is a perfect mid-weight quilt and washes beautifully. I also machine dry mine with great results.
Love the fabric and quality. It washes and dries without fading or shrinkage. It’s soft and cool. Hangs nice on the body. Wish there was a tie inside for secure closure but otherwise love it. I’m 5’2 125 lb and a medium fit perfectly. Hit just above mid calf.
I got laid off the day before these towels got delivered. I actually forgot I'd ordered them which I'm kind of glad about. It was a nice surprise and a bit of comfort after a real bummer of a day.A month later I'm still unemployed but I'm glad that these were my last real nonessential purchase (for a while at least). They're honestly great towels. They're as soft as a puppy's head light as a feather and they actually dry properly! No weird mildewy smells ever again! Like hey the job market is pretty bleak but at least I have these comforting towels for me when I get out of the shower.
i have not used the sheets yet. the other linen sheets i bought were horrible and shed all over everything. i assume this was a problem and it’s to bad. i live in another state and will sleep on the new sheets next week. please know linen sheets are faulty
The only thing I don’t like is the envelope closure on the pillow cases and shams is in the MIDDLE of the case. It’s hard to squish a firmer pillow in and I actually heard a little rip sound. I wish they would have put the enveloping at the end of the case like Booklinen does instead of on the middle. Makes it much easier…. If you have squishy down pillows though it wouldn’t be an issue.
I was looking for a non-toxic shower curtain liner after dealing with cheap shower curtains that harbored mildew. This liner has been AMAZING. I read a review that said If you’re on the fence about buying it just buy it. I 100% agree. I’d recommend to family/friends and will definitely buy again when needed.
Have been enjoying linen sheets for a few years but decided to try cotton again. Love the substantial fabric and soothing feel of these. I have eczema and these sheets seem to calm the discomfort that can create. Also appreciate they produce very little lint if any. Launder beautifully and fit my deep mattress well. Was so impressed with these just ordered another set.
I love this duvet! It is very soft and cozy and makes me feel snuggly in bed. I bought another one before this one and found the material on the other to be stiff and not nearly as soft. The color of the latte one is a creamy fan and so beautiful and neutral to match almost any decor. I am 100% pleased with this purchase and worth every Penny!!
I love the Fawn linen shams and duvet cover that we have. They are a beautiful shade of mid-tone neutral that is calming and grounding in our bedroom. I do slightly prefer the old heavier linen set I had previously but this linen washes and dries beautifully and is light and airy. I love everything I’ve ever gotten from Parachute.
I like this a bunch and I have gone threw a TON of slippers. There is a little weird with the left foot one almost feels like two rights but I guess it is not. Would have said something but as it was a close out item no refunds or replacement. Too bad glad I bought 2!
I sleep on my side and my shoulders/neck were not properly supported with the old pillows I had. This new pillow was worth the cost- I let it get to what felt like an emergency situation after a long flight and recurring neck pain and the very first night I had my new one I felt a difference. I also love the 60 day trial period knowing I could exchange it if I wasn't loving the full (Which I do. My husband sleeps on his stomach and loves the medium fill).
Purchasing these side sleeper down pillows was one of my best decisions. I’ve always used down pillows but they have all had standard knife edged seams. The box edge on these side sleepers offers immeasurable support. I actually don’t find myself waking to fluff a pillow in the middle of the night now. Worth every penny.
So like the title says this is my and my wife’s first all down pillows for both of us. We both got king size in firm I will say for a down pillow the firm one hold it’s shape well. We are planning on getting two queen size pillows in medium firmness as I am a stomach sleeper and the firm pillow is stuffed with so many feathers it really is firm. We feel the medium firmness is better suited for stomach sleepers . However I am glad I got the girl ones in king size because if you are sitting up to watch tv they are perfect .
I have always wanted a down comforter and did a lot of research. I decided on this one based on positive reviews. So glad I did. I live in the Midwest where it gets very cold. I have less blankets with the comforter and am perfectly warm. I purchased the heavier option. I wanted something fluffy and this met my expectation. I feel like I'm sleeping under a cloud. Exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend this.
This is my second mattress topper from Parachute. I'm knocking off one star for two reasons - one the price is kind of nosebleed and two the feathers tend to poke through. When that happens it's not super comfortable. I wonder if they've changed the casing in some way because we didn't have that problem with the prior topper.
