The suede material is super sensitive to stains on the top and bottom of the shoe… it’s unfortunate but I knew that going in. I bought them to slip on in the mornings and evenings to walk around on the cold wood floor in my apartment. And they work perfectly for that with or without socks. Definitely wouldn’t wear them outside. No issues with slipping or slippers falling off. I don’t find the base too thin.
Pros—Love the colors the pattern the fabric.Cons— the queen size weighs a ton and my husband has to help me make the bed every single day. We need to push and pull to adjust the pattern so it looks good on the bed. Never expected this. Having said this we still like the quilt.
Splurged on this and now can’t stop recommending it to everyone who hates New England winters. Winter can hang around as long as I’m snuggled up in my cloud quilt. Summer time? I’m still going to wrap up in this bad boy. It’s perfect for winter. It’s perfect for summer. It’s the worlds perfect quilt. Word of caution: all animals and children in your home will want to be in the cloud too. Hoping the twin size comes in stock soon!
Design: I love that you can wash this at home. It exudes quality the fabric the fill the weight. Use: Day 1…took a 3-hr nap. I swear it warmed up my sheets before I got in (probably not). Very comfortable both in weight/distribution and warmth. Using in high 60’s is still comfortable does not overheat. No clue what the future brings but this thing is great so far.
I've never been able to find a robe that is soft light and cozy without being too hot. This is the perfect robe! It is so soft and comfortable and I like that it cuts below the knee but isn't floor length. I can wear it all day it's fabulous. I haven't washed it yet but feel like washed on delicate and hung dry it will last a lifetime. I will be gifting these robes to friends and family. So glad Parachute is opening a store here in the Twin Cities soon!
I had been buying linen sheets from another company that don't get me wrong were good but began shredding after 1.5 years so I tried Parachute's linen sheets. Needless to say I'll never buy my linen sheets from any where else. They are beautiful soft strong and well made. I anticipate with proper care as I always provide the best to my linen sheets they will last a very long time. Highly recommend.
I’ve been ordering pillows for over a year now trying to find one that will prevent a sore neck. My other down pillow deflated to the point of no use. This one finally did it. I’m a side/stomach sleeper so needed the depth but had a hard time finding one that wasn’t too firm. Love it!
This was a treat yo self purchase and I couldn't be happier with it! I'm a curvy 5'4 and I love the way the medium fits- cozy without feeling like I'm swimming in it. The cloud isn't a lie it really feels so soft and warm without being too thick. The clay is such a beautiful feminine color and it makes me feel happy every time I put it on. My only very minor complaint is that the sleeves are long and when I wash my face I have to roll them up above my elbows. Otherwise I don't think I could have designed a better robe myself!
This linen top is well made true to size and extremely comfortable. Ditto for the matching bottoms. I have laundered them several times (following instructions) and they look like new. No fading shrinking or loose threads.I may have to buy another set.
These socks are superb. I have them in both the Bone and Coal colors. They are very thick and the top part of the socks are not overly slouchy as to be a nuisance. These socks are also very easy to launder. I put them inside a mesh laundry bag to wash and then hang them up to dry. The perfect socks for the cold winter months!
These are the best socks. They are the perfect thickness; not too thin not too thick. The colors are accurate and as advertised. They wash and dry well and have great shape retention. I’m replacing all of my old socks with these new cotton marled socks from Parachute!
I've only had my mattress for two nights...two nights of deep sleep with much less tossing and turning from pressure points that my previous mattress was causing. I would wake up with stiff shoulders neck and back! This morning getting out of bed I could actually walk without pain and stiffness!!I'm writing this review now only two nights in because well you should know the quality of this company and principles Parachute practices. They go to every detail to offer the highest quality best support and at an honest fair price! It is truly a win-win to buy from them. All my bed linens from luxurious sheets duvets their covers in linen percale sateen and the majority of my towels bath mats and now my amazing mattress are exactly as they describe. They are lasting luxury!Mary from Parachute worked through a seemless white glove delivery that a local delivery company tried their best to thwart. I am grateful for this company beyond words! So worth it!!
I purchased one percale set from Parachute and two sets from Casper and Brooklinen. Parachute is definitely the most sturdy in terms of feel of construction and it's the coolest of all three--can't wait to try these out in the summer as it's winter right now. However this set is also the roughest in terms of fabric feel (Brooklinen is softest can't say I'd recommend Casper). I've only washed them twice and they do appear to be getting softer--I hope they'll get even softer the more I wash them.
I’ve never wanted to invest in sheets but the older I get the more I realize how particular I am about them! Absolutely hate when a sheet starts to pill. It’s trash. I’m sold on this linen sheet I wanted to confirm that I was obsessed with it before spending a large chunk on a duvet cover. I will be ordering the duvet cover!
I have bought several sets of Parachute sheets over the years and again as always I am super happy with this set. The sateen is very pretty. And the linen is really good quality but it is definitely creasy so if you’re looking for something easier to just wash and go the percale is great. I got a set of the putty color sheets and duvet cover + shams. It’s a cool grey which skews a bit purple/mauve in my room but it’s beautiful with the black accents and throw pillows I have. So far it has also washed up great. I also got the all season down duvet and it’s heaven! I really don’t want to get out of bed it’s just too cosy.
I'm not one to lounge in a robe but I love a robe that replaces a towel! I get so chilly after showering and a towel never cuts it. This robe is so plush and dries me off all at once without being as fluffy as a traditional bath robe. The ribbed texture is beautiful and the color flatters all bathroom decor.
This is my 4th coverlet that I have purchased the previous ones where from Pottery Barn. Hands down this one is my favorite it is so soft and keeps you warm and is so light weight. Wish I would have visited you first would of saved me a lot of time and effort. Staff was great!!
I couldn’t believe how soft this thing is. I love how they’re oversized. I have a linen quilt also and wanted something a little warmer for the winter. I am hot natured anyways but wanted a quilt and not a comforter they’re just too thick. I love this quilt!!
I bought these as a replacement for my Organic washed cotton 200 thread count blush color sheets from West Elm. They held up for weekly washings for a couple of years and then ripped while putting the pillowcases on. :( I searched the internet high and low (unsuccessfully) for the right shade for a replacement. I finally gave up and settled on these sheets. The Clay color is pretty. However though they are percale the texture is a bit scratchy. The weird thing is you can slide around easily when changing positions while you sleep. It’s like there’s some type of finish on them. They’re rough but silky at the same time. After 4 washings so far I haven’t noticed a change in the softness. The sizing is generous. They are slightly on the thinner side.
Love the feel of my x-long twin top sheet. I wait until I get my linen sheets out of the dryer so I can put them back on my bed. I have other sheets but after sleeping on these sheets I rather wait until they are out of the dryer. Linen lasts forever. I’ve had my linen pillowcases for twenty years.
