Four stars because these towels are a beautiful color and texture. Loved the style size and feel of these. But they simply didn’t dry me or my family. We all felt like we were still wet after using them. Despite their beauty I had to send them back because if a towel can’t function like a towel then what is the point. Sad to do it because they looked so good in my bathroom. If you don’t mind being a bit moist after toweling off then these might work for you.
I bought this duvet cover in the new raisin color. The fabric is nice and smooth and lightweight. The color is a little more brown than it appears on the website but still interesting. I paired it with the matelasse shams in Dune and it's a warm neutral look that's richer and more saturated than all beige.
This is my first duvet purchase so I can't compare it to others. I chose Parachute because the dimensions for the King size were the largest I saw of the brands I was considering. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's like sleeping under a cloud. It's comfortable at a much wider range of temperatures than my old polyester comforter. It keeps me warm when the overnight low dips as low as the 20s. It does start to get a little too warm in the 60s though. Overall it's a very versatile cozy blanket.
Got the fitted sheet washed it and put it on the bed. This sheet has a buttery soft feeling from the first night. I can’t believe it and I love it. Makes me wish I bought a top layer to go with it. I usually buy sateen sheets through parachute and nothing wrong with those either. But they do take some washing to soften and these really don’t. When I decide between a top sheet or duvet cover I will be back.
These Organic Cotton Towels are my new favorites. Love everything about them. Great natural colors lighter weight very absorbent and the perfect feel. Years ago I purchased the Parachute Classic Turkish Cotton Towels and thought they were average at best. I recently visited one of your new stores and bought these on the spot. I have been looking a long time for the perfect towel and my search is now over. Please let me know if you ever decide to discontinue this line so I can order a lot more.
Beyond worth the investment and beyond all expectations! We have two of these - they’re the perfect weight and so soft. I thought I would maybe return the fog color because I worried it would be too grey but when I received it I was so blown away by the BEAUTY of the delicate color… it is just stunning. These blankets will be special to our families for many many years until they’re last thread. Thank you!
After researching the top 10 down comforters I did a compare of my top two different company’s (Riley and Parachute) queen all-weather comforters by purchasing both and comparing their size warmth coziness and loft. Parachute won by a landslide. It’s the perfect warmth for all seasons extremely soft and snug. I love that it’s machine washable and slightly oversized for my queen size bed. So thrilled with my purchase.
I really like the feel and weight of this bed cover. It could be bigger though as it barely hangs over the sides of my king bed. The other reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because it has much more of a yellow undertone than I was expecting based on the photos on the Parachute site which show as more of a true white. I thought it might be more of a creamy white but it is quite noticeably yellowish.
I got the cal king and while the quality is great the fit is pretty tight which I don’t love. I have a ultra soft pillow top so a tight mattress pad defeats the softness. This is a pretty deep mattress so I guess I’m not totally surprised but just wish it had deeper pockets.
I have a memory foam mattress that is too firm for my liking and this topper did the trick. I went from tossing and turning at night and my arms falling asleep to sleeping like a baby. It is so fluffy! And the thickness provides not just surface softness but actual padding. I love it and recommend if you need an extra layer of fluffy and comfort in your life!
These towels make me feel like I live at a spa. They are lightweight (which I like especially for wrapping my hair up because the towel actually stays in place) but they’re so soft and fluffy. I don’t know how they’ll hold up to heavy use yet but I would happily re-buy these every couple of years if necessary. I feel like a princess.
The description says it’s a matelasse which is a thicker more structured fabric. This blanket is actually ribbed and stretchy but is long enough on all sides to be tucked in or used as a coverlet. It’s the perfect year-round weight for my hot NYC apartment.
These are nice and thick classic bath towels. They don’t shed and they definitely get you dry. With the quality out there today in towels you may as well pay a little more and get a classic towel like this one vs. what other retailers like Ballard and Frontgate are selling
This is my first time buying linen bedding and I love it. It’s excellent at regulating temperature and I sleep great with just the fitted sheet and the linen quilt. I use linen wash in cool water in the machine and line dry them outside. Even though I have a mixture of colors they’ve been colorfast through two washings so far. I was concerned that the fabric would be too delicate but the sheet is very sturdy and generously sized. So comfortable!
I wanted to get sheets that would me with my excessive sweating and heat. My last linen sheets were ok but they fell apart quickly and were a little scratchy. These sheets are great: softer more comfortable and if I do sweat or leak the fluids don't puddle!
These sheets are all they promised. Very soft and only get better with every wash. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is due to the full/queen size. I expect that from a budget brand. Add a regular full size or I won’t purchase again. It’s a waste of our resources and my money.
Not sure why but the quality of the linen seems to be off in this blanket. It sheds terrible and DO NOT wash with anything else or those items will never be the same. Really wanted to like the brand but I am less impressed now than I was with the linen sheets I had bought. No issues with those other than having to buy a queen to fit a full bed which is simply wasteful.
I feel like I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect pillow for awhile. I had pretty high hopes for parachute pillows. I spent a lot of money on them so I want to give an honest review.I purchased silk pillow cases the side sleeper pillow and two regular down pillows (medium firmness).I’ll start by saying I should have gone with my gut and got the firmest pillow. Instead I purchased the medium based off previous reviews. The silk pillow cases are definitely better quality than most sell. Most silk pillows are pretty fake and not pure but this feels very nice on the skin. I would recommend the silk pillow cases. The side sleeper pillow was the best of the pillows I bought because it actually felt like it had some level of firmness to it. I am generally a side sleeper so this was probably the pillow that suits me better anyway. The pillows feel soft when you press your head onto the pillow it feels different than most definitely more luxurious. Out of both pillows I purchased I would say go with the side sleeper if you want to buy one. However it’s almost like you have no support if you just use this one pillow. It flattens out so fast so you have to put another pillow behind it if you ever sit in your bed. I do think my sleep has improved in the sense that I don’t wake up as sore in my neck or shoulder anymore. For the two regular down pillows (medium firmness) I was sort of shocked when I pulled it out of the packaging. I assumed it would fluff up over time but honestly it didn’t do much. My biggest complaint about this pillow is when you lay your head on the pillow you can literally feel your hand on the other side. Like I mentioned I am a side sleeper so I typically have my arm underneath the pillow. I don’t know if getting the pillow in firm would help this. I am sure it would but I cannot get myself to spend more money on these pillows in the chance they do end up being the same. I will stick with the softness of the pillow feeling great but the way it flattens out immediately was crazy disappointing. If you like any sort of support in your pillow - do not get the medium.
Long story short you need this shower curtain. We were hesitant at first because of the price but it has been more than worth it and looks fantastic in our bathroom. As an added bonus our cat Marie adores it and falls asleep in between the curtain and the tub all the time.
Our high-quality new mattress was just a little firmer than we thought it would be but the addition of the down alternative mattress topper has made a lot of difference in not having to turn over frequently because of hip pain. It does tend to flatten a bit where you sleep so it needs to be fluffed up frequently. But overall--really helps comfort.
