This is great fabric for hot/warm climates. We also have this linen set in blush. We needed to get another bedding set but unfortunately they were sold out of blush. Feels good against your skin and I pass out so fast. This makes you want to roll around in your sheets.
So Brene recommended these on her podcast almost two years ago. I’ve been eying them but at the time I had just bought sheets and couldn’t really justify. I also have transitioned into using linen sheets only and they felt great INSTANTLY. I am really grateful I invested and can’t wait to buy a few back ups of my fitted sheets as well as the duvet cover. Totally 1000000% worth it.
Everything about this coverlet is perfect. The weave is tight enough to not snag feels soft and satisfying right out of the box. It's heavy but that's a good thing – the linen is so breathable in summertime that you can enjoy the feeling of sleeping beneath a blanket without suffering. In cooler months I drape two of these puppies on my bed and it's warm enough for all but the coldest nights. I just bought a similar throw from a competitor brand and it was so inferior compared to the quality I've come to expect from Parachute... I returned that one and am now looking to buy a third coverlet from Parachute. (Seriously... I bought one for myself as a birthday present.) After two years of heavy use the coverlets are still in great shape. I flew with them in my checked luggage when I moved across the country because I love them so much. I rarely leave reviews like this but if you're on the fence about buying this... do it. I have the King and Full/Queen sizes... on a low queen bed frame the Full/Queen is a fine length. But I love the extra-ness of the King and don't regret buying it. Have the Mulberry and Ochre and both are rich hued and have aged wonderfully over time. These coverlets do get a little wrinkly but that's a function of the linen (it wrinkles!). The fact that I've written this much about a product I've purchased 2 years ago is proof that it's a stellar one. Invest in yourself and your sleep... just buy this dang coverlet!
Happy with purchase but not in love. Pros: towel fabric & color is a perfect match to parachute towels in space. Cons: The fit is unisex/not as feminine or flattering to my body and is a bit heavy compared with the lightness of matching towels. I was expecting a thinner fabric.
I love this blanket. It’s warm but not overbearing. Light too. I would suggest dry cleaning it only. I damaged my first one horribly by washing and drying it per the instructions. Customer service was impeccable! I was sent a new one. Can’t recommend this brand enough.
I love these covers I purchased the grey one about a year ago and recently got the beige one as well. These wash well and are boho but classic at the same time. My only complaint is with the beige one my pillow covers are more yellow than the duvet cover. I wish they were a little better in color.
We walked into a parachute store and tried the feel of your sheets and fell in love with a bluish gray color. We really love the sheets they feel great. The color is a little bit more dull than I thought and I really wish that you had a bright white comforter that would pop against it. But we are happy with the quality.
The linen is as good as it gets amazing! However i have several... king and queen beds. Its to small for the beds on both sizes. When beds are made properly the sides are unsightly due to the small sizes. Maybe better as a throw then a bedding piece. I use then between duvet and topsheet.
I've been a linen-bedding loyalists for years but this past winter I was craving something soft and cozy and decided to give this a try. I am so glad that I did this is hands down the best bedding I've ever purchased. All of the reviews claimed how soft it was and I thought Yeah right. But it really is that soft! We don't use a top sheet so although it means washing the duvet cover more often it's worth it because this feels so incredible against the skin! I only wish Parachute made sheets to match the softness! (I thought the Organic Cotton collection might be it but definitely not). Because my husband and I both sleep hot this will be too warm for us come summer months (even with a light-weight comforter inside) so it's back to my beloved linen for a while but I'm already looking forward to winter again when I can bring this back out! I'll also note: I read a lot of reviews about the delicacy of the fabric especially with pets. We have a small dog whose nails we're not diligent about trimming so I was very prepared for the snags. However I really haven't found that at all! There's a couple here and there but you have to be looking quite closely to notice them so I've found it to be surprisingly durable given its softness. My only complaint is that the strings in the corners to secure the duvet are awful! They're very thin and after first wash they all started unraveling so now they're basically a pile of unusable string in each corner. Odd since our other Parachute duvet has normal sturdy strings. But no matter I sill recommend this duvet cover VERY highly (the shams are great too!)
Finally decided to get the linen sheet set...hate that I waited so long. Fair amount of lint after first wash but decreases substantially after the second one. They will wrinkle if not ironed. Very neutral temperature sheet; not cold/not warm. Great for differing body temp sleepers.
I love these slippers! I wear a womens size 10 in shoes and the medium fits perfectly. They are the best house shoes! I love that they have the tread on the bottom so I don’t have to take them off to go outside for a second if I need to. Get them. You need them.
I have been waiting to find the right pillow and finally found it! I’m a back sleeper who likes a cozy pillow. I purchased the all down medium fill king pillow. It is outstanding. Night one and I’m a believer. All other pillows hurt my neck. Really happy about the purchase. Already referring friends - I’m also buying more
I bought this robe for my husband in a size Medium - he is 5' 7 and weighs about 160 - it fits him perfectly - fitted without being short or snug - exactly right. It's a medium to lightweight robe; if not for the ribbing I'd say just medium. The color (gray) as expected is soft and soothing. My husband says he wishes it had a hood to dry his hair. I have a lot of hair so hoods just don't cut it and get in the way so that's just personal preference. I never knew I wanted a bathrobe until my husband bought one for me first then I returned the favor and we are both very pleased
This quilt is lovely. Soft and adds great texture to you bed. Fluffier then many quilts. But snags super easy. At least for me. I do have a dog but she doesn’t scratch or paw at the bed. I am sure if you don’t have a dog there won’t be an issue. I wish I could start over before the quilt got snagged and keep the dog off the bed. Super pretty!
I usually purchase dept store pillows when they’re on sale. No more. This one was perfect for me from night one. The filling is soft and quiet. It provides just the right barely there gentle cradling I prefer and rebounds quickly when I need to adjust. Seems like it always has a cool side to flip to too because I don’t have to shift around the hot fill to get the right support.
I love this blanket. It’s so soft and super warm. I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know how well that will hold up but fingers crossed. My only issue I’ve noted is that the fabric does not hold up well to pets. I’m not particularly bothered personally but I can see that being something that others might want to know before purchase. When my cats knead the blanket it leave lots of little pills in the fabric and some loose strings. I’d imagine dog claws would impact it similarly.
After suffering a horrible pinched nerve and ensuing Chiro massage and PT care all while trying various new pillows I finally settled on ordering a Parachute pillow. I never should have hesitated. It is the BEST pillow. I’ll never use a different brand. I am a fit and healthy 38 yr old but a few nights in a row of bad sleep on a crappy pillow and I will most likely be dealing with nerve issues for the rest of my life. If you like down pillows-!: are shopping for a new one this is your pillow!
I am 8 mos pregnant and our memory foam mattress is too firm for my liking. I am normally a stomach or back sleeper but obviously have to sleep on my sides right now. It was getting to a point that I couldn't put much weight on my left leg when I would stand up. Since I've starting using this my lower back pain has almost completely gone away.
I bought this to replace an inexpensive cotton duvet cover and sham set that had worn threadbare in multiple spots after just a few years of use. I expected the linen to have a break-in period but right out of the initial wash it was already softer than the worn in cotton! I love not having to worry about it being perfectly smooth. The slight rumples look intentional and lived-in not messy. I’ve washed it a few times already (thanks to kids and pets) and it comes out of the dryer ready to go every time. I’ve had it on my bed about three months so far so I can’t yet speak to long term durability but I’m hopeful I’ll get many great years of use out of it.
